My love for food trucks is very deep. I had to visit Raleigh’s last food truck rodeo to fill my tummy.
The crab cakes from Bam Pow Chow were awesome. The sauce they put on top was so good. Too bad I had to share because I could have eaten them both.
We tried the Thai Chili wings from Craven’ Asian and yes they were the business. My sis got the dumplings and she loved them. She said they weren’t spicy at first but after you finished it had a kick to it.
Were also had shrimp and grits from Sarge’s but I have no idea what happened to the pics. Oh, and they had homemade strawberry lemonade that made you think grandma rolled the lemons and made it herself.
We wanted to try Pho Nomenal Dumplings but the line was so long and we did not want to wait an hour just for some dumplings. They won The Great Food Truck Race and we wanted to see if they lived up to the hype. Plus, we love supporting local businesses.
The weather was beautiful. Not too hot with a nice breeze. The kids had a great time doing sidewalk art. All in all, it was a great day for a food truck rodeo.
If you have not been to a food truck rodeo, you should try it. There is so much to choose from. Most trucks don’t give a sample size so make sure you have someone to share the deliciousness with.
